Built by Chris Fry in June 2016 for the Space Exploration Secretary’s Challenge
Using the same sphere construction used in The Gadget, this approximately 1:6 scale model of the prototype carries four aerials of aluminium, and yes, these are genuine Meccano — I happen to have a good stock of clock kit pendulum rods!
