Built by Tim Surtell in January 2011 for the 14 Parts Plus Semi-Circular Plates Only Secretary’s Challenge

This reproduction in Meccano of Vincent van Gogh’s painting ‘Sunflowers’ meets the criteria for two of the Secretary’s Challenges:

  1. January 2011: Replicate a famous work of art
  2. April 2011: Use only 14 parts, plus any number of parts 214 (semi-circular plate) and 37 (nut and bolt)
