Caravan
Built by Chris Warrell in September 2011 for the Festival of Britain Secretary’s Challenge
From a 1954 № 4 set manual. I wanted to build a model that was evocative of the 1950s for the Festival of Britain challenge. This caravan fitted the bill, but I gave it a two tone colour scheme with dark red below the windows and light yellow above. I also changed the roof line from stepped to curved.
A matching car was added in 2013.
