London B-Type Bus
Built by Cathy Claydon in September 2014 for the Year of the Bus Secretary’s Challenge
In October 1914 these London buses were sent to join the army in Belgium and France. The B-Type was developed with this possibility in mind as it was reliable and easy to maintain. By 1918 over 900 B-Types were in use carrying soldiers behind the front lines.
In this model the wheels still need painting army green.
