Lorry
Built by Brian Elvidge in March 2008
This model is well illustrated in the November 1966 issue of Meccano Magazine. It makes a typical Lorry of the period and could be built from a 1962 set № 6. The Liverpool model constructs well with few issues and operates well.
The model has a few modifications: The cab doors open and close, the load body uses a second flanged plate in its construction, there are twin rear wheels, and the steering mechanism is geared. There are also other added details.
