Minimalist Vehicle Chassis

I need a chassis that I can use for a number of different models, and it also needs to be minimalist — using as few parts as possible in order to keep a favourable power ro weight ratio.
I measured some yesteryear model vans, and increased the proportions to suit Meccano 2” tyres.
The examples here are still under development.
