From the Johannesberg Meccano Hobbyists Newsletter, this was originally built with metal parts, but was thought to be too small.
Wendy Miller used junior Meccano plastic parts — this one I built from information from her.
The object is to move the part marked ‘A’ to the exit. The strips can move any number of holes, but only along their axis (i.e. not sideways), and no overlapping is allowed.
It should take about 12 moves, though I have no statistics on this.
