Radial Crane
Built by Brian Elvidge in September 2006 for the Crane Building Kit Models Secretary’s Challenge
This model has been shown before at SELMEC by George Foard at meeting 120 in June 2006. It is taken from the crane kit of 1976 and makes a nice subject.
The trolley travel and the radial movement are hand driven, whilst the hoist uses the crane kit electric motor.
The model as described works well — one of the only models from this outfit worth building.
