Roman Battering Ram
Built by Ralph Laughton in September 2009 for the Military Models Secretary’s Challenge
For the Military Model Secretary’s Challenge, rather than build something from the Meccano army sets, I decided to look back a little further in time and have built a Roman battering ram.
Although there is nothing remarkable about this model, it has inspired me to build a few other similar models including an assault tower and a catapult among others.
