Sho-Lin Linograph
Built by Chris Fry in April 2016
Designed by Andreas Konkoly and recently described by Nick Rodgers in Andreas Konkoly Supermodels Nos. 51–55 available from Runnymede Meccano Guild.
This is one of Andreas’ more quirky Meccanographs and produces patterns with the pen moving only in straight lines which continuously vary in stroke due to the ‘sho-lin’ mechanism as the table revolves. Many variations of pattern are possible especially if one is prepared to manually change gear pairs.
