In blue and gold from a 1930s Set C instruction leaflet.
Due to shortage of parts in the correct colours some alterations were made to details such as seat backs, mudguards etc.
The manual suggested (at least I think it does — it’s in French, but I think my translation was good enough!) that the model can be powered by a Magic motor. It looked terribly underpowered, but I was surprised to find it propelled the model across the floor of the NELMC meeting room at Hainault without any trouble. Trying to get it to move over carpet is another story, though.
