Built by Chris Warrell in September 2009 for the Military Models Secretary’s Challenge
This model is from the № 4 set from the early 1940s, with a few minor alternations to improve the conning tower etc. The original instructions require you to take the pin out of a hinged plate and use the two plates on either side of the hull. Since I have plenty of ordinary plates I used those instead. I used square-cut plates to give the prow a nice sharp look.
