Twin Horizontal Steam Engines
Built by Guy Loveridge in April 2014
This model is my own design, although some dimensions are similar to the Twin Horizontal Steam Engines model in the Super Model leaflets.
The layout, which is a central boiler and a steam engine either side, is copied from the British Engineerium steam museum in Hove.
A single electric motor drives the two “steam engines”, and the two “steam engines” run at different speeds for visual effect.
Other features include 10” diameter flywheels, and working pistons, valves and governors.
