Bending Machines
Built by Ralph Laughton in June 2008
These bending machines were built originally so that we could form the strips and plates while refurbishing our dealer display windmill. We looked at several designs and eventually built the machines you see here.
The strip bending machine will form strips as well as double angle brackets and flat girders.
The plate bending machine is a lighter construction and employs special silver steel rollers.
