Mug Holder

Built by Chris Warrell in March 2020 for the Mug Holders Secretary’s Challenge

My Mug Holder holds a plastic Keep Cup. A Gear Ring (part № 180) holds the bottom of the mug and a series of Stepped Curved Strips support the top. They’re joined by four Double Angle Strips. The handle is three 4½” Angle Girders bolted together. A small derrick crane, formed from a modern angled plastic strip, can swing over the cup to dip the teabag to make sure you get the perfect brew!

Thanks, Mike! My brother saw this and thought I should add receptacles for new and used tea bags. I tried with Boiler Ends bolted around the rim but it made the cup holder rather unstable — and messy — tea from the used tea bag leaked through the holes!
