Space: 1999 Eagle Transporter

One of my favourite sci-fi programmes is Space: 1999 which was made in the early 1970s by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson.
This is a model of the Eagle Transporter which was used on Moonbase Alpha in the programme. For this model l had to use many parts which made the model quite heavy but also increased its strength.
To go along with the model l have included a detachable pod with opening doors and a moon buggy.

I have now built another detachable pod with opening doors. This pod is based on the Laboratory Pod. I have also included Spine Booster Rockets, and a laser gun turret.
For this model I had to use many parts which made the model quite heavy, but also increased the strength. The pods are held onto the spine by two long bolts.
