Bleriot Monoplane
Built by Chris Warrell in June 2011 for the Other Systems Secretary’s Challenge
Using some of my Aeroplane Constructor parts, this is a Bleriot monoplane from around 1910. Based on a picture by Colin Ashford (Adrian’s Dad!) in The Men Who Changed the World by Peter G. Cooksley.
The caption in the book states that Britain’s first air mail was carried in a similar machine.
