Twin-Engined Biplane
Built by Brian Elvidge in August 2022
This model was inspired by the № 2 set model of the 1928 to 1935 series of manuals, where a very similar model is pictured.
My model has a differently constructed tail area, and has been modified due to the longer sector plates used in the fuselage front area.
The wings use braced girders, 12½” and 5½” ones, braced by double angles. The propellers are a compatible part, held for some 30 years or more, by Swiss Stokys with Meccano threaded bosses. Stokys now use metric threads.
The undercarriage is simply built up as shown.
