Austin K Series Auxiliary Towing Vehicle

This model forms part of ModelPlan 274, by George Illingworth and others, and represents a pre-war towing vehicle for trailer fire pumps of various types. I am using part of ModelPlan 266 for this.
The model is complicated to build successfully. The bodywork requires building in the correct order, and the truck’s cab is difficult to get right. The constructor had to modify the truck’s chassis. The steering assembly was moved one hole inwards towards the centre, to improve the lock of the steering; this item caused a few issues in the build.
