Flying Saucer
Built by Chris Warrell in September 2024 for the Page Three Models Secretary’s Challenge
Built using only part numbers 146–235f, but I have cheated slightly! The standard nuts and bolts (parts 37a and b) can be replaced by pivot bolts and set screws from large circular parts respectively.
You also have to imagine that I have bent the 2½” narrow strips to fit inside the model rather than use 2” strips, which were not in the Meccano system in the 1970s.
