Alien Lander

Why do I call this an alien Lander? Because it contains no Meccano, being made from alien parts belonging to a system with holes at 1cm spacing and using metric (M4) nuts and bolts.
I have never intentionally bought any of these metric systems — they surreptitiously creep in as part of Meccano job lot purchases.
This set introduces a disconcerting feature in that its M4 bolts have hex socket heads, taking the same 3mm tool as Meccano bolts.
Prior to this, all the M4 bolts I’d seen from these sets were cross-headed.
