Comic Creepy Crawly
Built by Brian Leach in June 2009 for the Spanners and Screwdrivers Secretary’s Challenge
Wheel flanges form the body and screwed rods keep all the wheel flanges together.
Eight spanners make the legs of the creepy crawly and this could have been made longer, perhaps into a centipede if more spanners and wheel flanges were available. Unfortunately I recently gave away some spanners!
Using 11½” screwed rods it would be possible to have a creature with about 24 legs.
