Built by Brian Elvidge in January 2014 for the Birthday Models Secretary’s Challenge
This was built for the Secretary’s Challenge to build a model using ones birth date; mine is September 1957 so I have used the Meccano Magazine for September 1957 and built this very simple model using set 3.
As I have no red/green parts, I have used the equivalent Temsi and Metallus parts in red and green.
The model is motorised using the Magic motor to drive the winding drum. There also is a handle to luff the jib and the crane slews as well.
A very satisfying model to build.
