“U.S.S. Enterprise” Space Ship

The original of this model was built by John Lavers for the 1979 Henley exhibition ‘NONUTZNOBOLTZ’ competition. Details of it were published by Constructor Quarterly in 1993: I built it in 2007 — does that mean that I have to keep it for 14 years?
The stand was not part of the original model, but is my addition.
