Stumbled upon your site while searching for pic of 50 ton S & P crane at Southampton. Did you know that The Museum of Bath at Work has an operating Meccano model of this crane, built by ex S & P employee assisted by local model maker in Bath? Until I recently retired I was a trustee of this museum, so if you wish for further info contact museum director Stuart Buroughs on 01225 318348. Be aware! Director is NOT a Meccano person, suggesting that when the crane arrived in the museum that it would look better painted all one colour! ! I have a pic of the model, so if you send me your email address I will forward it. Regards, Tony M.
