The River Darent flows through Central Park in Dartford and the park has some splendid formal landscaped gardens, a cafe, a playground, and a skatepark. The main entrance is located adjacent to Dartford Library and Museum in the town centre.

Trains

Dartford Station is on the Bexleyheath Line (Medway Towns, via Bexleyheath, to London Charing Cross and London Victoria), Sidcup Line (Medway Towns, via Sidcup, to London Charing Cross and London Cannon Street) and Woolwich Line (Medway Towns, via Slade Green, to London Charing Cross, London Cannon Street, London Blackfriars, London St Pancras International and Luton). It is a 10–15 minute walk from Central Park. The station has step-free access.
