The Railway 200 Secretary’s Challenge
This Challenge took place at our September 2025 Meeting
2025 was the 200th anniversary of the opening of the Stockton & Darlington Railway on 27 September 1825. Railway 200 is a year-long nationwide partnership-led campaign to celebrate 200 years of the modern railway.
The Challenge for this meeting was therefore to build railway models such as locomotives, rolling stock, wagons, station buildings, signal boxes etc. which could also be displayed at our Meccano Show.
