Sentinel Steam Wagon
Built by Richard Marsden in January 2011
Inspired by a bookon early lorries bought in a second-hand bookshop. This is about the third incarnation of this model, which was finally built from pre-war blue and gold parts for a small exhibitionof pre-war construction toys organised by the Bayko club. It is driven by a modern 3V Meccano motor viaepicyclic gearing giving a very compact 25:1 reduction.
