Tower Crane
Built by Les Chatfield in January 2015
This is a model of a ‘T’ tower crane built especially for the 2015 Brighton Modelworld. It is the second tower crane model I have built (the first was actually purchased by a visitor to last year?s Brighton Modelworld!)
The model is powered by three motor gearbox combinations purchased on-line especially for the model. One of these failed and so the rotation motor was salvaged from a commercial printing machine and resembles the full-sized motors used on actual tower cranes — apart from being oversized.
