Built by Ralph Laughton in January 2013 for the Musical Instruments Secretary’s Challenge
To build her triangle, Sue did think about bending some rod to make a ‘working’ instrument, but that would not really be a Meccano built model in the true sense of the word. Construction is self-evident. The braided cord the instrument is suspended on was made on a Meccano ‘rope’-making machine built by Peter Sleaford.
