Based on an Airfix “Museum Models” kit. Airfix brought out several museum models of famous engines of various types. I purchased and built the Beam Engine and then built this Meccano model of it. In its exhibiting lifetime it has gone through many changes and is now facing the biggest change… Being returned to the parts box.
