Dockside Crane
Built by Richard Marsden in January 2021
This is a dockside crane with a motorised ‘crab’ and lift. The main challenge was the large rotating bearing, because I don’t have the Meccano geared roller bearing. I settled for twelve small flanged wheels running on a circle made from carefully curved perforated strips.
