Road Roller

Built by Richard Marsden in January 2022

This is based on the Dinky Toy № 25p, Aveling Barford road roller. I baulked at copying the toy’s original green, but I had some parts that I’d repainted in red to match the 1950s flexible plates, so red it was. I created the driver on Tinkercad (an online 3D drawing package), so I could make him on my 3D printer.

Thanks Frank and Les. I did have the dinky toy as a child, but it went to the church jumble sale when I was about 17. Fortunately I found a good image on the internet, and copied that.
