Work-in-progress military tank transporter tractor featuring:
- Eight wheel drive.
- Front and rear axle steering.
- Steer/drive front axle on semi elliptic sprung suspension.
- Steer/drive rear axle.
- Three rear axles on replicated Hendrickson-Turner Air Ride suspension by pivoted beam and spring modules.
- Five differentials in driveline (4 x axle and one inter-axle).
- Heavy duty replica tyres with Meccano 3” Pulley/Tyre inserts.
- High speed R/C Truck drive motor.
- Diaphragm clutch.
- Three speed and reverse sliding gear gearbox with combined two speed rang change gear.
- Six forward and two reverse speeds.
- ‘H’ gate 3-R gear shifter.
- Separate high/Low range change shifter.
- Rack and pinion front axle Ackerman steering.
- 4000mAh 7.2V DC battery pack in simulated fuel tank.
- 10A fuse protection.
- Tilt forward opening bonnet and cab doors.
- 2.4GHz radio-controlled electronic speed and steering servo control.
- Fifth Wheel with tilt plate and king pin locking.
- Semi-trailer coupling ramp.
- Dual independently controlled winches.
