This was one of our informal quarterly meetings where our members showed off their latest Meccano creations.
At around 2:00pm we had a short committee meeting, followed by the Model Tour in which members were invited to give a short talk about their models — in particular their entries for the Secretary’s Challenge!
The Pocket Meccano Set X N Secretary’s Challenge
This Challenge came from Chris Fry. He called it ‘Pocket Meccano Set X N’ — build a model using only parts from the Pocket Meccano set parts list, but use as many of the included parts as you like.
In 2006 we ran the Pocket Meccano Challenge, but using the contents of a single set. There were six entries then — we did better this time!
